Job Description

The Financial Analyst supports financial and operational reporting across AccordCare's home care and home health operations. This role produces recurring reporting packages, prepares cost and utilization analysis, and completes ad hoc requests from finance leadership. This position works onsite at our office in Palm Beach, FL. Responsibilities Prepare recurring reporting packages, including location and branch level profit and loss reporting. Prepare budget and forecast variance analysis. Maintain the cashflow forecast for the business. Support the annual budget cycle and ongoing forecast maintenance. Prepare labor cost reporting, including overtime and bill rate to pay rate spread. Support RCM reporting, including, but not limited to, A/R analysis and billing lag metrics. Provide month end reporting inputs to accounting and support the month-end close process as needed. Complete ad hoc analysis and schedules requested by finance leadership and operations partners. Build and maintain supporting models using defined assumptions and methodology. Document sources and calculations so analysis can be reviewed and reproduced. Pull and validate data extracts from operational, payroll, and financial systems. Maintain and refresh existing business intelligence reports and supporting data files. Apply established metric definitions consistently across all reporting. Log data discrepancies and follow through with system owners until resolved. Build working knowledge of company data sources, reporting structure, and report logic.
Qualifications Education:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field required. Two to three years of financial analysis or accounting experience, healthcare preferred. Advanced Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and basic financial modeling. Ability to work with large data extracts from operational and financial systems. Experience with a business intelligence tool such as Power BI, or aptitude to develop it. Familiarity with Medicare and Medicaid managed care reimbursement preferred. Experience with AlayaCare, NetSuite, UKG, Snowflake, or SHP preferred.
