Job Description
Join our dynamic team as a Financial Coordinator / Bookkeeper, where your expertise will drive the accuracy and integrity of our financial operations. In this vital role, you will manage a broad spectrum of accounting functions, ensuring compliance with industry standards and organizational policies. Your proactive approach will support our mission to maintain transparent and reliable financial records, enabling informed decision-making across departments. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical skills in a collaborative environment dedicated to excellence and continuous improvement. Maintain and update financial records using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, and Quicken, ensuring all data is accurate and current Perform detailed general ledger accounting, including journal entries, account analysis, and general ledger reconciliation to uphold GAAP standards Conduct bank reconciliations and account reconciliations regularly to verify the accuracy of financial data Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes efficiently, ensuring timely payments and collections Prepare comprehensive financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and budget variance analyses for internal review Oversee payroll processing and related tax compliance to ensure timely and accurate employee compensation Assist with governmental accounting requirements and support audit preparations by maintaining meticulous records of financial transactions Proven experience in corporate or non-profit accounting with a strong understanding of financial concepts such as debits & credits, double entry bookkeeping, and journal entries Hands-on experience with popular accounting software platforms including QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or similar tools Familiarity with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and governmental accounting standards Demonstrated ability in bank reconciliation, account analysis, budget management, and financial report writing Knowledge of payroll processing, tax regulations related to payroll, and account reconciliation procedures Strong organizational skills with proficiency in 10 key typing for data entry accuracy Prior experience in public accounting or technical accounting roles is highly desirable Embark on a rewarding career where your skills will directly impact the organization's financial health.
