Job Description
Department FPG Administration Job Summary The Budget & Financial Analyst facilitates the set up and completion of annual budgets and forecast. Serves as Finance Liaison and performs accounting functions that include preparing, reviewing, analyzing, and maintaining various financial reports and general ledgers. Generates reasonableness review, hindsight, other analysis, and ad hoc reports for all Healthcare System units as assigned. Serves as System Administrator for EPSi budgeting software and API Business Analytics. This position will review and calculate compensation for Physician/Provider positions with First Physicians Group (FPG). Required Qualifications
- Require a Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration.
- Require a minimum of three (3) years of prior accounting experience. Preferred Qualifications
- Competency in accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and analytical techniques.
- Prefer the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, take initiative, work as a team member, and work under pressure.
- Prefer proficiency in Excel, including design and maintenance of complex spreadsheets incorporating advanced features such as linked fields, lookup tables, pivot tables and hyperlinks, as well as, proficiency in Word & PowerPoint.
- Prefer proficiency in time management skills with the ability to prioritize a variety of duties.
- Prefer demonstrated working knowledge of general and cost accounting concepts, overhead allocation, and productivity measures in healthcare setting.
