$30-$40/hour DOE About the Opportunity We are seeking a detail-oriented Finance Analyst Contractor to support financial planning, accounting, analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and regulatory initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity for an analytical finance professional who enjoys working cross-functionally and contributing to strategic decision-making. Key Responsibilities Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities. Monitor financial performance and perform monthly variance analysis. Support monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close processes. Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting documentation. Create reports, presentations, and ad hoc financial analyses. Partner with business leaders to provide financial insights and recommendations. Support regulatory activities through research, data collection, and analysis. Assist with preparation of financial documentation and regulatory filings. Maintain workpapers and identify opportunities for process improvements. Collaborate across Finance and operational teams on strategic initiatives. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and accounting close processes. Ability to prepare journal entries and support financial reporting activities. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to prioritize multiple projects and work independently. Experience supporting regulatory initiatives or highly regulated industries is a plus. Why Apply?
