POSITION SUMMARY
The Corporate Financial Analyst will support enterprise-level strategic initiatives at Herschend through detailed financial planning and analysis. This role sits on the finance team but will partner with executive sponsors and collaborate across functional departments to support executive decision-making through financial insights. This role will develop financial models and key performance indictor dashboards to analyze business performance and provide actionable insights. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, financial acumen and effective communication skills. This individual must be agile, proactive and an independent thinker.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Support enterprise-level strategic initiatives at Herschend through financial planning and analysis Develop and maintain financial models to support business decisions and measure returns on initiatives Analyze operating results to identify trends, risks and opportunities that drive business performance Prepare financial reporting packages, dashboards and presentations Assist with forecasting and budgeting requirements related to strategic initiatives Perform ad hoc duties for other projects as assigned
EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
2+ years of experience in financial planning & analysis, corporate finance or accounting Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance or a related field
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint Excellent understanding of financial statements and general accounting principles Experience with key performance indicator (KPI) reporting Strong quantitative and analytical thinking mindset Organized, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks Strong verbal, written and in-person communication skills Familiarity with and adept at using artificial intelligence machine learning platforms for workflows Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
