Financial Analyst Savannah College of Art and Design - 3.7 Savannah, GA Job Details Full-time 1 day ago Qualifications Employee relationship building Bachelor's degree Full Job Description 502518 Savannah, Georgia, United States Finance Business Full-time Staff As a financial analyst at SCAD Savannah, you will join a highly motivated team at the forefront of ensuring that the university's mission, vision, and values are met through critical financial planning and analyses. Reporting to the director of finance, you will articulate and communicate the financial position of each department to the functional leadership at SCAD, fostering a fiscally responsible culture. In support of the finance department, you will: Identify and understand financial trends through monthly stakeholder reports; lead annual budget meetings with key stakeholders Prepare operating expense budgets across the university, including historical analysis, forecasts, and stakeholder meetings; collaborate with functional owners on the annual budget and related presentations to present them to the budget committee Prepare and analyze management reports used to create board reporting; compile and prepare annual board report presentations Provide financial analysis for major contract renewals and assist in final contract reviews and negotiations; accurately forecast each category of capital expenditures, including physical resources, information management and technology, and academics; maintain rolling forecast of capital expenditures relative to budget parameters You will also: Accurately forecast each revenue source for the university using all known variables, including tuition, discount rate, attrition, class composition, and price sensitivity Develop and maintain a five-year financial forecasting model; support university-wide strategic and long-term goals Maintain existing IT reports and lead new IT reporting projects Prepare ad hoc reports as requested and relate the results to leadership Successfully build positive, collaborative relationships with functional owners and leadership across the university Minimum qualifications: Bachelor's degree At least one year of experience in a finance Preferred qualifications: At least five years of experience in finance Travel required: 10-20% Work hours: The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. To accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other workdays and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.
