Reconcile daily production and inventory activity to ensure accurate accounting and reporting.Review inventory movements and identify discrepancies between raw materials, production output, and reported inventory.
Investigate quantity and yield variances to determine root causes and financial impact.
Analyze how inventory discrepancies affect product costs, gross margins, and profitability.
Validate refinery production, yield, and inventory data within SAP and RightAngle.
Research and resolve inventory, production, and accounting discrepancies.
Perform month-end inventory reconciliations and support accounting close activities.
Prepare inventory variance reports and communicate findings to Accounting, Finance, and Operations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.2-5+ years of accounting experience, preferably involving inventory, manufacturing, cost accounting, or operational accounting.Experience reconciling inventory, production, or other high-volume transactional data.
Strong understanding of inventory accounting principles and financial reconciliations.
Ability to investigate discrepancies and determine their impact on costs and profitability.
Experience with SAP required.
