What you'll do As an Accounting Analyst , you'll play a key role in supporting our Finance team. Your responsibilities will include filing, depositing money, collections, tracking expenses and bookkeeping. You'll report directly to the Controller and will help with administrative tasks. You'll also: » Perform clerical functions to support the firm's client work and internal business needs. » Handle incoming mail for the Accounts Receivables department. » Help manage Accounts Receivables email. » Maintain professional and courteous communication, ensuring confidentiality. » Process daily Accounts Receivable transactions and invoices. » Own the collections process for outstanding client balances, including proactively following up with Project Managers and clients, monitoring past-due accounts, documenting collection activity, and driving timely resolution of receivables. » Collect contact information for electronic invoices. » Contact clients to set up ACH payments and process ACH requests. » Track invoicing portals. » Coordinate firm purchase cards. What it takes This is an opportunity to learn and grow in the accounting field and develop leadership skills. An associate degree in the finance/bookkeeping/accounting field is required but could be offset by experience in roles with similar responsibilities. You should have two to five years of experience. Here are other skills that will set you apart: » Knowledge of standard office procedures, equipment and relevant software. » Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn new software if necessary (intermediate to advanced Excel skills). » Accurate numerical calculations and work. » Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
