Strong business partnership skills and team-oriented nature; ability to communicate and influence outcomes by relaying complex financial data in clear and simple terms Description The contractor reports to the Senior Manager, Immunology Finance. This position supports the Center Team by helping with drive process improvements, providing backup coverage when team members are out of the office, and supports ad-hoc analysis as required.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Primarily responsible for assisting the Senior Manager to enhance the structure, efficiency, and automation of GOAT (Franchise/Consolidation Planning files) Conduct a comprehensive inventory of GOAT files working papers, assessing the necessity of existing elements and considering removal, modification, or addition of content (e.g., categorization of Impactable vs. Non-Impactable items). Establish and align a standardized framework for spending categories within the working papers to ensure consistency and clarity across files. Investigate and implement automatic refresh functionality for SAP actuals directly within GOAT files, while streamlining and simplifying underlying tables for improved usability and accuracy. Develop an automated process for landing and integrating data within GOAT files to further enhance efficiency and reliability. Assist on BPC loads during the Plan, Latest Best Estimates (LBEs), Long Range Plans (LRP) cycles ensuring deliverables are accurate, clear and concise for management review and approval Assist on tracking promotional, marketing and sales force budgets for the US Immunology areas. Analyze monthly actual results, comparing them against benchmarks (Plan/LBEs) to identify risks and opportunities. Assists on monthly close activities, including headcount reporting and variance analysis. Prepare monthly management packages with key stories and issues highlighted. Qualifications
