Type:
full-time Connect Search is partnering with a well-established manufacturing company in the Pleasant Prairie, WI area to identify an Accounting Analyst for a newly created position on its accounting team. This role offers a nice blend of general accounting, financial analysis, and accounts receivable responsibilities. Approximately 70% of the position will focus on traditional accounting and analysis, including journal entries, reconciliations, month-end close, reporting, and budgeting/forecasting, with the remaining 30% supporting accounts receivable. It's a strong opportunity for someone looking to broaden their accounting experience and gain exposure to the financial operations of a growing organization.
Key responsibilities include:
Prepare and post journal entries and account reconciliations Support month-end and year-end close processes Analyze financial data and prepare reports for management Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis Maintain accurate general ledger records and supporting documentation Support internal controls, audit requests, and process improvement initiatives Apply incoming cash receipts and reconcile customer accounts Generate customer invoices and monitor accounts receivable aging Research and resolve billing discrepancies and customer account issues Collaborate across departments to ensure accurate and timely financial information
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting required 1-2+ years of general accounting, financial analysis, or related experience Experience with journal entries, general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and month-end close Exposure to budgeting, forecasting, or financial analysis preferred Manufacturing experience strongly preferred Strong Excel skills and prior ERP system experience Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with excellent attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach The position offers a $70,000-$80,000 base salary , with flexibility up to approximately $85,000 depending on experience , plus a bonus opportunity of up to 10% based on company and individual performance.
