The Role:
As a Financial Spreads & Appraisal Review Analyst, you will be playing a key role in providing support equally two credit administrative functions that are relevant to commercial/agricultural lending. You will fund the spreading of financial statements and tax returns of customers and prospects into a computer program for use by lenders in management in making lending decisions. You will also order, schedule, and receive appraisals/evaluations and perform appraisal reviews for properties (commercial, agricultural, residential) in accordance with Bank and legal regulations (including state and federal).
Other Key Functions:
Spreading financial statements and tax returns based upon information provided by lender(s) on behalf of customers & prospects. Communicating with lender(s) as well as informing lender(s) if additional information is necessary to complete the spreads. Generating financial ratios to evaluate customers' financial status. Coordinating with other department employees and ensuring financial statements and tax returns are imaged to the credit file and financial ticklers are appropriately updated Communicating with appraisers on Approved Appraisers' list to determine availability to perform appraisal assignment. Scheduling appraisals and monitoring report return dates. Maintaining current spreadsheet of appraisal order requests. Receiving appraisal reports and completing internal review of appraisals; request updates from appraisers as needed. Coordinating with A/P to ensure timely payment of appraisal invoices. Reviewing commercial, agricultural, and/or residential appraisals and write administrative reviews. Requesting any appraisal corrections deemed necessary, monitoring return dates for corrections. Communicating with appraisers/AMC's to obtain clarification and additional supporting explanations and/or data as deemed necessary. Assisting in maintaining a quality control system that evaluates and monitors the ongoing performance of appraisers. Making recommendations to management regarding the continuation, limitations, or removal of an appraiser from the approved appraiser list. Providing support to all areas of the Credit Administration Division demonstrating superior customer service with appropriate follow through with involved appraisers and employees. Handling customer and loan officer inquiries on loans and/or collections of a deposit account. Conducting problem resolution and communicate with officers or customer(s) on the findings. Running daily query of posted DDA charged off deposits. Generating and mailing DDA 30 day collection notice and mail prior day letters Posting monthly payments from CBCS and balancing this clearing account. Reporting charged-off deposit accounts to Chex Systems, forwarding the necessary account(s) to Collection Agency. And more!
Qualifications:

Qualified candidates should:
Have 2 to 5 years of similar or related experience with credit administration, loan operations, finance, or other banking-related fields preferred. Hold a college degree specifically in accounting or business-related field. Maintain a basic understanding of accounting concepts including GAAP. Demonstrate a commitment to detail-orientation and exhibit great customer service skills.
