POSITION PURPOSE
The Finance Analyst supports the daily financial operations of the school, including accounting, cash management, athletics financial administration, booster club accounting, and month-end closing activities. This position works closely with the Director of Finance, athletic coaches, and booster club representatives to ensure accurate financial records and effective budget management. An important part of the position is supporting the ministry and mission of LCA and advancing the academic excellence and spiritual vitality of our school and students. Each employee plays an important role in the development of the Christian faith in our students.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Process daily cash receipts, check deposits, check requests, and financial data entry. Manage purchasing and ordering for the Athletic Department. Manage billing for Athletic Department. Serve as the finance liaison for coaches and athletic staff. Manage accounting and reporting for athletic booster club accounts. Prepare and maintain booster club financial statements and supporting records. Assist with budget monitoring and expenditure tracking. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for athletic leadership. Support month-end close by preparing journal entries, completing reconciliations, maintaining schedules and assisting with financial statement preparation. Complete assigned month-end checklist items and other accounting functions. Job Description - Finance Analyst 2026 Develop, manage, and monitor audits, budgeting, special projects, and other duties as assigned by the Director of Finance, particularly related to Athletics. Coordinate uniform ordering, distribution, collection, and replacement processes. Manage athletic department purchase order processes. Coordinate with vendors and internal finance teams to process purchases efficiently. Perform other duties as assigned.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.
POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
This is a full-time position, and normal work hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
TRAVEL:
No travel is expected for this position.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business required. 3-7 years of experience in finance, accounting, athletics administration, business operations, or related field Non-profit experience a plus Experience in athletic programs, educational institutions, nonprofit organizations, or sports administration preferred. QuickBooks knowledge/skills preferred. Intermediate Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Experience maintaining P&L statements and financial forecasts. Knowledge of fundraising and donor fund management practices. A committed and dynamic Christian faith is vital along with the ability to support LCA's lifestyle standards and mission.
Pay:
Up to $18.75 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
