Our teams work directly with client leadership on engagements spanning revenue cycle, financial planning, and operational improvement.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Junior Analyst supports client engagement teams with financial analysis, reporting, and data-driven insights that inform recommendations delivered to hospital and health system leadership. This is a remote, full-time role suited to an early-career professional with a strong accounting or finance foundation and hands-on healthcare financial experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Build and maintain financial models, budgets, and forecasts to support client engagements.
  • Analyze healthcare financial and operational data (revenue cycle, payer mix, cost, and utilization) to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
  • Prepare accurate, well-organized reports, trackers, and presentation materials for internal and client-facing use.
  • Support senior analysts and engagement leads in developing findings and recommendations for client leadership.
  • Reconcile and validate financial data against source documentation and client contracts to ensure accuracy.
  • Assist in benchmarking client performance against industry and peer standards.
  • Participate in client meetings and calls, taking notes and following up on action items as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, with coursework meeting the educational requirements for CPA licensure (150 semester hours); CPA candidates or those actively pursuing licensure are strongly preferred.
  • 2-3 years of financial experience in a healthcare setting, such as a hospital, health system, physician group, or healthcare consulting/advisory firm.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, including financial modeling and data analysis; familiarity with Microsoft 365 tools (PowerPoint, Power BI) a plus.
  • Solid understanding of healthcare financial concepts (revenue cycle, reimbursement, budgeting) and general accounting principles.
  • Excellent attention to detail, written communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines while working independently in a remote environment.
