Job Description

Seeking an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to support the financial management of the IT portfolio in Healthcare domain. This position combines advanced financial analysis with project management disciplines to coordinate budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, expenditure monitoring, and financial process improvement activities across multiple technology programs and funding sources. The successful candidate will serve as the primary financial resource for assigned MassHealth IT programs and initiatives, providing detailed financial analysis, budget development, expenditure forecasting, and reporting while ensuring compliance with applicable and federal financial requirements. The position requires exceptional analytical skills, sound financial judgment, and the ability to organize and coordinate complex financial activities involving multiple stakeholders, funding sources, contracts, and program priorities. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Public Administration, Economics, or a closely related field; equivalent professional experience may be substituted. A minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible professional experience in financial management, budgeting, forecasting, accounting, auditing, financial analysis, or financial reporting. Demonstrated experience coordinating financial activities across multiple projects, programs, or organizational units. Strong knowledge of governmental budgeting, financial reporting, internal controls, and expenditure management.
Pay:
$65.00 - $67.00 per hour
