Job Description
Summary/Objective:
The Sr. Financial Analyst will analyze past financial performance to predict future performance and to advise the company on its financial strategy.Essential Functions:
Analyses business and financial data. Creates financial models bases on analyses to support organizational decision making. Develops financial plans and reports for organizational leaders. Analyzes industry trends and makes recommendations based on those trends. Evaluates capital expenditures and depreciation. Develops automated reporting and forecasting tools for more efficient use of data. Maintain financial compliance with GAAP standards. Other duties as assigned.Non-Essential Functions:
Work extensively with plant personnel to improve business. Support the Chief Financial Officer, Director of Accounting & Audit, and Controller as needed. Provide guidance to Credit, Billing and other Accounting staff as needed.JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Work Environment:
Work time will be indoors/office. Noise level will be low.Physical Demands:
Sit approximately 7 hours per day and walk or stand the other 1 hour per day.ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
Experience:
Two (2) years of professional experience as an analyst, accountant, auditor, or computer programmer analyst OR valid CPA (Certified Public Accountant) certificate with at least one year of professional experience as an analyst, accountant, auditor, or computer programmer analyst.Special Skills:
Excellent written communication, verbal communication, and mathematical skills. Ability to use a computer, including Microsoft Office with a focus on Excel. Experience using multiple accounting software platforms (Great Plains, Microsoft Office, Payroll, Banking, etc.). High degree of auditing experience (GAAP) and fixed asset accounting. Knowledge of operating budgets and capital budget concepts. Ability to conduct advanced statistics. Extensive knowledge of accounting practices. Excellent interpersonal skills. Skills in database management and record keeping. Able to exhibit a high level of confidentiality. Excellent organizational skills. Must be able to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner. Must be able to gather and analyze financial data/information skillfully.Certifications:

College/Undergrad in Accounting, Finance or Related Field or equivalent combination of education and experience.Preferred Education:
