Job Description

The Program Financial Analyst I is responsible for reviewing, monitoring, and controlling project data to support internal and external project reporting. This role involves preparing budgets and schedules for contract work, assisting with cost proposals, pricing documentation, and performing cost variance analysis to ensure realistic contract cost and schedule baselines are maintained. The Mission Solutions and Technologies (MST) business area provides affordable, turn-key command/control, communications, integrated ISR, force protection and security solutions worldwide. The MST team has a long legacy of supporting the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, commercial and international customers with years of experience in platform operations, engineering and full lifecycle management across domains - air, land, sea, space and cyber.
Responsibilities:
Review, monitor, and control project data for internal and external project reporting. Prepare budgets and schedules for contract work and assist with cost proposals and pricing documentation. Conduct "what-if" cost analysis, program cost forecasts, and cost variance analysis. Monitor outstanding work against each contract to maintain realistic contract cost and schedule baselines. Support the development and maintenance of financial models and reports. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial data and analysis. Assist in the preparation of financial presentations for management and stakeholders. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. 0-2 years of experience in financial analysis, project control, or a related field. Relevant experience can be considered as a substitute for the required educational qualifications. In the absence of a degree, a minimum of 4 years of related experience is required. Ability to effectively and clearly communicate program and financial related information. Proficiency with Microsoft Office software, especially Excel.
Qualifications We Prefer:
Enthusiasm for the Aerospace and Defense industry. Experience with financial software and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems such as SAP or Oracle. Knowledge of Earned Value Management.
Essential Functions:
Ability to work in an office or hybrid environment. Ability to work on a computer for extended periods. Strong hand/finger dexterity for computer tasks. Ability to occasionally lift/move up to 20 pounds. May require occasional travel for training or meetings. Estimated Starting Salary Range:
$59,000.00 - $77,541.82. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors, such as candidates' key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. SNC offers a generous benefit package, including medical, dental, and vision plans, 401(k) with 150% match up to 6%, life insurance, 3 weeks paid time off, tuition reimbursement, and more.
