Project Support Analyst (2999)

We help our customers coordinate services across their enterprises nationwide, enhance efficiency through process improvement, and deliver quality services within cost and on schedule. PSI Pax Inc has an exciting opportunity for a Project Support Analyst to join our team.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Supports full life cycle project management with heavy focus on cost, schedule, performance.
- Supports Government Project Lead (GPL) to coordinate all project processes from requirements through delivery.
- Provides technical project budget execution at lowest task level.
- Manages project funding acceptance and execution.
- Oversee financial activities such as tracking the flow of funding through commitments, obligations, expenditures, return and validating financial transactions in Navy ERP against division financial tracking tools.
- Analyze financial execution data and identify risks and mitigation strategies.
- Prepare cost-related insights to report variance in monthly plan versus actual expenditures and obligations.
- Develop expense and obligation plans at the lowest activity, sponsor, appropriation level.
- Daily utilize Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (N-ERP) business and financial system to extract, analyze and interpret business and financial reports.
- Monitor execution, benchmarks, and carry-over funding for all systems/projects consisting of multiple funding appropriations and provide recommendations to assist with meeting expenditure requirements.
- Utilize standardized tools to best support specific project reporting, continuous analysis, complex problem solving, and rebalancing of requirements throughout the project life cycle.
- Supports more experienced analysts, applying financial data analytics techniques to aggregate data and report and Branch levels.
- Supports and guides junior analysts, apply analytical techniques and using excel based financial tracking tools.
Qualifications:
Experience
At least three years' experience in functional area above and a Bachelor's degree
OR
Associates degree and four years' experience in the functional area above
OR
Nine years' experience in functional area above and HS Diploma
Of the required three (3) years of experience, at least two (2) years of experience required in a business or technical position in a project management role. Demonstrated ability to initiate and plan projects risks, tracking, and defining mitigations.
