Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Accounting & Finance Operations Analyst to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will drive the efficiency and accuracy of financial processes, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and internal standards. Your expertise will support investment management activities, financial reporting, and operational workflows, contributing to the overall health of our financial operations. Duties Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, including transaction processing, trade settlement, and cash management activities. Ensure adherence to financial regulatory compliance standards such as GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and securities law requirements. Conduct detailed financial analysis using Excel data analysis techniques, including pivot tables and advanced spreadsheet functions. Support regulatory reporting obligations by preparing accurate and timely financial reports in accordance with governmental and industry regulations. Collaborate with internal teams on business operations, providing insights into financial concepts and industry best practices. Detect and prevent fraud through diligent monitoring of transactions and suspicious activity investigations. Maintain and update SQL databases for efficient data retrieval and analysis related to finance operations. Skills Strong understanding of accounting principles, including technical accounting standards and governmental accounting practices. Proven experience in investment management, fixed income markets, banking, or financial services sectors. Expertise in financial software applications, spreadsheets, pivot tables, and SQL database management for data analysis and reporting. Knowledge of financial regulatory compliance frameworks such as industry-specific regulations governing trade settlement, financial reporting, and client communication. Excellent internal communication skills to coordinate across teams and ensure clarity in complex financial concepts. Demonstrated ability in business operations management with a focus on process improvement and operational efficiency. Familiarity with securities law, banking regulatory compliance, fraud prevention techniques, and industry knowledge of financial regulations is highly desirable.
