BluePearl Pet Hospital is seeking an organized, fiscally responsible, and goal-driven Financial Coordinator to join our team onsite at our Grand Rapids Hospital! As the Financial Coordinator , you will ha ve primary responsibility for charge capture and other billing-related activities across the hospital. You will ensure that all charges are captured in an appropriate manner by auditing records for accuracy and verifying that charges align with the patient's treatment record(s). You will work with hospital leadership to rectify recurring charge capture issues and educate other associates regarding charge capture protocols. The role may also have primary responsibility for coordinating and maintaining payment plans, providing clients with billing updates, and collection of accounts receivable. As a

Financial Coordinator:

Manages accounts receivable, billings, and collections for assigned hospital(s) including but not limited to reporting, discount processing, closing open invoices, and managing third-party relationships, in partnership with Accounts Receivable team.

• Manages Associate invoice charge capture, discounts, and accounts receivable.
• Supports hospital teams with end-of-day and end-of-month processes and reports, including auditing daily deposit reports and PCI compliance procedures.
• Utilizes tools and reports to identify charge capture trends and provide feedback on loss mitigation tactics and organizational charging guidelines.
• Assists in financial audits at the direction of hospital leadership.
• Supports Client Service Team with elevated client financial issues, providing guidance on communications, pricing, and payment policies through a patient-centric approach.
• Partners with hospital team, field leaders, and other support departments to improve revenue collection workflows.
• Ensures all hospital financial transactions comply with hospital and organizational policies and regulations.
