Finance Data Analyst

Dematic is seeking a Data Analyst to support Finance data analysis and artificial intelligence projects by ensuring access to clean, reliable, and well-structured data. This role bridges fragmented enterprise data sources and transforms them into actionable datasets. It involves building and maintaining Finance dashboards and supporting advanced analytics and AI/ML workstreams. The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $76,500 - $112,200 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.

Tasks and Qualifications:

What you will do in this role: Ensure Finance has clean, reliable, and well-governed data to support analytics and AI initiatives Bridge fragmented Dematic data sources into unified, actionable datasets Develop, build, and maintain data pipelines from enterprise systems including SAP, Salesforce, global cost book, and other proprietary data sources Implement and ensure the integrity of data quality checks, monitoring, and validation processes Build, enhance, and maintain analytics dashboards for Finance team members using Power Apps Translate Finance reporting and analytical requirements into structured datasets and visual insights Partner with an AI/ML engineer to deliver curated, model-ready datasets for advanced analytics and machine learning use cases Document data definitions, business logic, and pipeline processes to ensure consistency and clarity What we are looking for: Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field 2-5 years proven experience in data analytics, reporting, data engineering, or a related role (internships, co-ops, or academic projects included) Solid understanding of SQL for data extraction and transformation Experience building dashboards or reports in Power BI or a similar BI tool Strong data validation, problem-solving, and analytical skills Ability to clearly communicate insights to Finance and non-technical partners Exposure to SAP or Salesforce data structures preferred Basic experience with ETL / data pipeline development preferred Familiarity with Python or similar tools for data transformation preferred Understanding of Finance concepts such as cost structures, reporting, or forecasting preferred Exposure to AI, machine learning, or sophisticated analytics projects is strongly preferred #
