We are looking for a Financial Analyst to support a non-profit organization through a Contract position based in Okemos, Michigan. This role focuses on interpreting financial data, building practical models, and delivering insights that help leaders make informed decisions. Responsibilities:

• Analyze financial results and trends to provide meaningful insight for planning, forecasting, and operational decision-making.
• Develop and maintain financial models that support budgeting, scenario evaluation, and long-range analysis.
• Perform targeted ad hoc analyses in response to leadership questions, funding considerations, and changing business needs.
• Compare actual performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying key variances and explaining underlying drivers.
• Gather, organize, and interpret large data sets using effective data mining techniques to uncover patterns and opportunities.
• Prepare reports, dashboards, and summaries that communicate financial performance clearly to stakeholders.
• Partner with internal teams to improve the accuracy of financial information and strengthen reporting processes.
