Financial Analyst- Supply Chain

Lipari Foods is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst- Supply Chain to support financial planning, cost analysis, and operational efficiency within the supply chain. This entry-level role will assist in analyzing data related to procurement, inventory, logistics, and distribution to help drive cost savings and improve overall performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze supply chain costs including procurement, transportation, warehousing, and inventory holding Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for supply chain operations Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) such as inventory turnover, cost per unit, and service levels Support month-end and quarter-end financial reporting processes Identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and operations teams to align financial goals Prepare financial models and variance analyses Maintain and update financial and operational databases Assist in pricing analysis and supplier cost evaluations

Position Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain Management, Economics, or related field 2+ years of experience Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, basic modeling) Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus Basic understanding of supply chain processes and financial principles Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Good communication and teamwork abilitiesExperience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) Knowledge of financial modeling and forecasting techniques Understanding of inventory management and logistics concepts About Lipari Foods Headquartered in Warren, Michigan, Lipari Foods is a leading independent distributor built around global and specialty foods.
