Job Description

Enterprise Bank & Trust seeks a GAAP Reporting Analyst to support accurate, compliant financial reporting for our community-focused institution. In this role, you'll prepare and analyze GAAP-based financial statements, support regulatory and management reporting, and assist with period-end close activities. Partner with finance and business leaders to interpret results, explain variances, and strengthen internal controls. Leverage advanced Excel and reporting tools to streamline processes. Responsibilities Prepare accurate GAAP-based financial statements and related disclosures. Support regulatory and management reporting for the bank and affiliates. Assist with month-end and quarter-end close, reconciliations, and journal entries. Analyze financial results, perform variance analysis, and provide insights to stakeholders. Maintain and enhance internal controls over financial reporting. Use advanced Excel and reporting tools to automate and improve reporting processes. Collaborate with finance, accounting, and business teams to ensure data accuracy. Support audits and examinations by preparing schedules and responding to inquiries. Required Skills GAAP financial reporting Financial statement preparation Regulatory reporting (Call Reports, SEC or similar) Banking/financial services accounting Advanced Excel Financial analysis and variance analysis General ledger and reconciliations Internal controls and SOX concepts Data query/BI tools (e.g., Power BI, SQL) Written and verbal communication
