Financial Analyst Banyan Search Winston-Salem, NC Job Details 2 days ago Qualifications Financial model construction Accounting and finance experience Financial projection model development Stakeholder relationship building Cross-functional communication Full Job Description Position Summary The Financial Analyst is a resource for financial reporting, financial analysis, and forecasting activities, reporting to the Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis and working closely with the accounting and finance teams in a complex, multi-location business. Responsibilities Perform financial analytics related to regional and operational budgets, including income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow analysis. Conduct variance, trend, scenario, and sensitivity analysis. Improve and streamline financial processes to deliver best practice. Support measurement and analysis of major business initiatives. Deliver and communicate actionable analytics to leadership and throughout the organization. Maintain proactive communication and transparency on analytics. Support special projects and analytical requests as needed. Develop information analytics and dashboards through data mining within the company's ERP. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 2-5 years of experience in similar financial and/or planning roles in a complex, multi-location business. Experience developing financial models and related analytics, with strong operational accounting and financial reporting skills. Ability to build strong working relationships at all levels and communicate effectively across the organization. Detail oriented and team focused. Preferred Qualifications Experience navigating ERP environments (Microsoft Dynamics a plus) and transforming data into effective presentations. Analytical experience with Excel, T-SQL, and BI reporting tools; Power BI experience a plus. Query and report development experience extracting and integrating data from data-marts or cubes. Working knowledge of FP&A processes, including evaluating M&A opportunities, complex operating budgets, and capital appropriation requests.
