Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Sr. Financial Analyst to support financial planning and deliver actionable insights for business decision-making in Bayonne, New Jersey. This role focuses on budgeting, forecasting, modeling, and performance analysis, while partnering with stakeholders to evaluate results and identify opportunities for improvement. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to translate complex financial data into clear recommendations.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate business performance, support planning activities, and guide strategic decisions.
  • Prepare detailed variance analyses by comparing actual results against budget and forecast assumptions, then explain key drivers to leadership.
  • Lead annual budgeting efforts by gathering inputs, validating assumptions, and consolidating financial plans across relevant areas.
  • Produce recurring and ad hoc financial reports that highlight trends, risks, and opportunities for operational and financial improvement.
  • Support the annual forecasting process by updating projections, monitoring changes in business conditions, and refining outlooks as needed.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to collect financial data, assess performance, and provide recommendations backed by quantitative analysis.
  • Analyze historical and current financial results to identify patterns, improve planning accuracy, and support management decision-making.
