Job#: 3050239 The ideal candidate will bring strong trade settlements or operations experience, excellent attention to detail, sound decision-making skills, and the ability to work effectively in a structured, highly controlled environment handling physical certificates.



Key Responsibilities

    Physical Settlements Processing:

    Support the processing and settlement of trades involving physical certificates and related operational activities.

      Documentation Review:

      Read, comprehend, and review various settlement and certificate documents to understand requirements and ensure accurate processing.

        Reconciliation Support:

        Gather information from different applications and internal stakeholders to support market value reconciliations and related control activities.

          Control & Accuracy Oversight:

          Review cash, position, and market value sheets, identify discrepancies, and escalate issues promptly to senior team members.

            Task Execution & Peer Checks:

            Complete daily and monthly responsibilities on time while supporting peer checks and control processes across the team.

              Stakeholder Coordination:

              Partner with client service representatives, reconciliation teams, controllers, and senior managers to collect information and resolve operational questions.

                Process Learning & Improvement:

                Learn current team workflows and contribute ideas for process improvements, workflow enhancements, and efficiency gains over time.

                  Application & Access Support:

                  Help ensure required application access is in place for team activities and support operational readiness.



                  Qualifications

                  • 2+ years of experience in trade settlements, securities operations, or related financial services operations roles
                  • Foundational understanding of trade flow, trade processing, and settlement operations
                  • Ability to read and understand operational documentation with strong attention to detail
                  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage time-sensitive tasks accurately
                  • Ability to identify issues, ask questions, and escalate concerns appropriately
                  • Strong communication skills and comfort working with multiple internal stakeholders
                  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint
                  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt within a structured operational environment
                  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in business, finance, or a related fieldPreferred
                  • Familiarity with bonds, stock powers, incumbency certificates, or similar financial documentation
                  • Experience supporting market value reconciliations, cash and position reviews, or similar control functions
