Works mainly in investment firms, though can also be employed in lending institutions, corporate finance departments, banks or insurance companies.

Job Description
Responsibilities:
Margin Governance & Oversight Operate as a experienced point-person within the North American Margin team with deep margin subject matter expertise, knowledge of end-to-end flows, risk, and regulations. Have strong experience around regulations Reg T, Portfolio Margin (PM), FINRA rules, SEC 15c3‑1/3 requirements , and operational implications for Prime Brokerage Margin Partner with the Prime Product Development and In-Business-Risk to refine and validate margin calculations and identify opportunities for enhancements or automation Implement and oversee strong risk management and control capabilities for margin and collateral management operations Ensure products and/or services are well designed: ensure developments are in line with the target operating model and design standards, through close partnerships with other Margin & Collateral Operations leadership Provides evaluative judgment based on analysis of information in complicated, unique and dynamic situations; draws on diverse range of internal and external sourcesPeople & Culture Agenda:

BA/BS degree preferred 6-10 years of relevant experience in financial services with specific experience working within global Prime Brokerage margin functions. Demonstrate a strong appreciation of Prime margin processes, regulations, securities products, practices, and risks, and/or product/service design, execution and delivery of large strategic change programmes. Preferably at large financial services firm Strong awareness of both external and internal best practice perspectives, maintaining a balanced and fresh viewpoint Strong risk and control mindset ability to identify sub-optimal processes, drive robust capabilities with a clear focus on robustness and transparency Proven ability to work across senior stakeholders in Risk, Product, Technology, and the Front Office Excellent analytical, communication, and decision‑making skills This job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed.
