Onsite Position Summary Our organization has an opening for a Junior Financial Analyst to support the Division FP&A Headquarters team. This entry-level role is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals seeking to develop a strong foundation in financial planning and analysis. The Junior Financial Analyst will support financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and business performance analysis while partnering with finance team members to provide timely and accurate financial information that supports decision-making across the organization. Background & Context Our organization is a global leader in providing critical medical diagnostic and informatics products for rapid blood analysis that are intuitive, reliable, and cost-effective. The i-STAT System is an advanced portable diagnostic tool that provides real-time, lab-quality results within minutes to accelerate patient-care decision-making and optimize resource utilization for customers and patients. Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of financial reports and analyses supporting monthly, quarterly, and annual planning processes, including Plans, Latest Best Estimates (LBEs), and Long-Range Projections (LRP).
  • Support the consolidation, validation, and review of financial data for management reporting and business performance analysis.
  • Assist with the preparation of profit and loss statements, balance sheet reviews, cash flow reporting, and variance analyses.
  • Maintain and update financial models, reporting tools, and spreadsheets used by the FP&A team.
  • Support monthly close activities through reconciliations, expense reviews, journal entry preparation, and reporting updates.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales and financial reports and assist with forecasting and budget tracking activities.
  • Analyze actual results against budgets, forecasts, and prior-year performance and help identify key drivers of variances.
  • Assist with Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) reporting and performance metric tracking.
  • Support capital expenditure requests, purchase order reviews, and project spending analyses as needed.
  • Assist with profitability analyses, pricing analyses, and resource planning activities under the guidance of senior finance team members.
  • Gather and compile financial and operational data from multiple sources to support business reviews and management presentations.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies, financial controls, and reporting requirements.
  • Support process improvement initiatives designed to enhance reporting efficiency, automation, and data accuracy.
  • Participate in special projects and ad hoc analyses while gaining exposure to broader FP&A activities. Qualification & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in accounting or finance, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • 0-2 years of finance, accounting, FP&A, data analysis, or related business experience. Internship and co-op experience may be considered.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, lookups, and basic financial analysis.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft PowerPoint and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Exposure to ERP systems, financial reporting tools, Power BI, or similar business intelligence platforms is preferred.
  • Basic understanding of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and build relationships across functions.
  • Demonstrated willingness to learn, develop new skills, and take on increasing responsibility.
  • Continuous improvement mindset with an interest in financial planning, reporting, and business analysis.
