We're looking for a hands-on Asset Manager to take ownership of the performance of our residential asset portfolio. You'll work closely with on-site property management teams and ownership to keep assets on track financially from rent collection through NOI performance and to identify and execute on value-add opportunities across the portfolio. Responsibilities Oversee rent collections and delinquency management across all managed residential assets, working directly with on-site teams to minimize aged receivables and enforce collections policy Identify and drive monetization and value-add initiatives to increase income and asset value across the portfolio Review and oversee property-level operating expenses, closely monitoring budget-to-actual performance to catch and prevent expense hikes that would erode NOI Partner with property management teams to build, review, and manage annual operating budgets Analyze monthly property financial statements and variance reports, flagging issues and driving corrective action Track portfolio-wide performance metrics and prepare regular reporting for ownership Support capital planning and oversee execution of value-add capital projects Serve as the primary point of contact between ownership and on-site/third-party property management teams Qualifications 3-5 years of experience in multifamily asset management, property management, or real estate operations Working experience with Yardi required Strong understanding of property-level financial statements, budgeting, and NOI drivers Experience overseeing collections and delinquency processes Excellent analytical skills with high attention to detail Strong communication skills; comfortable managing relationships with on-site teams across a geographically dispersed portfolio Ability to work full-time on-site in Great Neck, NY Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred

Pay:

$70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
