Job Purpose This role is responsible for analyzing and interpreting data, procedures, activities, and key documentation to provide accurate, timely insights that support informed decision-making and the effective operation of National Grid. The position designs and implements procedures and policies within its area of responsibility to enhance organizational efficiency and performance, while managing projects that add new capabilities or improve existing departmental functions. The role also supports leadership through tailored reporting and plays an active part in driving execution and accountability across the department. Key Accountabilities Analyze and interpret operational, financial, and business data using established tools and methodologies to support informed decision-making. Plan, organize, and execute work activities efficiently in line with National Grid policies, processes, and regulatory requirements. Maintain and provide regulatory and business-critical information to internal and external stakeholders as required. Continuously develop technical and professional expertise to enhance individual and organizational capability. Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to share information, best practices, and technical advice. Identify opportunities to improve processes, challenge existing ways of working, and drive continuous improvement. Research and analyze data trends and scenarios to assess potential business impacts. Design and implement processes, policies, and business cases aligned with strategic objectives and regulatory standards. Qualifications A bachelor's or an associate degree in a business, systems, or finance preferred. Minimum of 3 years of experience in one or more customer account management, invoicing, financial structures, energy management, information systems management sufficient to lead programs or projects preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access) required. Proficient in relational database querying techniques (SQL) and Alteryx preferred. Ability to read COBOL code preferred Proficient in managing and working projects independently. Salary $84k - $98k a year National Grid utilizes an assessment that evaluates the job qualifications/characteristics using AI or statistically based scoring. This position has a career path which provides for advancement opportunities within and across bands as you develop and evolve in the position; gaining experience, expertise and acquiring and applying technical skills.
