Financial Paraplanner Beachwood, Ohio About Wealth Advocate Group At Wealth Advocate Group, we believe financial planning is about helping clients make informed decisions and feel confident about their future. We take a collaborative, team-based approach to planning and investment management, working closely with clients to develop customized strategies that support their goals through every stage of life. As our firm continues to grow, we are seeking a Financial Paraplanner who is passionate about financial planning, enjoys solving problems, and is looking to build a long-term career in the wealth management industry. Why This Role? This role is ideal for someone who wants more than an administrative position and is seeking a clear path toward becoming a financial advisor. As a Financial Paraplanner, you will work directly alongside experienced advisors, participate in client and prospect meetings, assist in developing financial planning recommendations, and gain firsthand exposure to the financial planning process from discovery through implementation and ongoing review. You will receive mentorship, training, and professional development to build both technical planning knowledge and client-facing skills. For the right individual, this position provides a strong foundation for future growth into an Associate Advisor or Financial Advisor role. We actively support team members pursuing the CFP® designation through mentorship, professional development resources, and opportunities to apply financial planning concepts in real client situations. Our goal is to help motivated professionals build both the technical expertise and practical experience necessary for a successful long-term career in financial planning. What You'll Do Financial Planning Support Assist advisors in gathering and analyzing client financial information Input and maintain client data within financial planning software Participate in developing planning strategies and recommendations Conduct research on financial planning, retirement, tax, insurance, and investment-related topics Prepare planning analyses, presentations, and meeting materials Assist with investment and portfolio analysis Client & Advisor Support Attend prospect and client meetings alongside advisors Capture key discussion points, action items, and follow-up activities using firm technology tools, including Jump AI Assist with implementation and follow-up of planning recommendations Communicate with clients regarding information requests and next steps Help ensure a consistent, high-quality client experience throughout the financial planning process Professional Growth Develop proficiency in industry-leading technology, including eMoney, Salesforce, and other planning and client relationship tools Continue building technical knowledge of financial planning concepts and best practices Pursue professional development and industry credentials, including progress toward the CFP® designation What We OfferAdditional Information This position involves regular interaction with clients and access to confidential financial information. Strong communicators who can explain information clearly and professionally Naturally organized and detail-oriented Comfortable managing multiple priorities and deadlines Collaborative team players who enjoy working with others Self-motivated learners with a genuine interest in financial planning Adaptable and willing to embrace new technology and processes Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in Financial Planning, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field Strong organizational and time management skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment High level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail Preferred Prior experience within the financial services industry Experience using eMoney, Salesforce, or comparable financial planning and CRM platforms Progress toward or interest in pursuing the CFP® designation Securities licenses (Series 7 and/or Series 66)

$60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
