Junior Financial Advisor / Experienced Paraplanner American Financial Services - Boardman, Ohio American Financial Services is seeking a motivated Junior Financial Advisor or experienced Paraplanner to join our growing wealth management team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who already has experience in the financial services industry and is looking to take the next step in their career. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial planning, investments, retirement planning, and client service, and will work closely with our senior advisors in developing and implementing comprehensive financial strategies for our clients. Responsibilities Assist senior financial advisors with client preparation and follow-up Prepare financial plans, retirement projections, and investment analyses Review existing investment, retirement, and insurance accounts Assist with portfolio reviews and investment recommendations Gather and organize client financial information Prepare materials for client meetings Assist with retirement income, Social Security, tax, and estate-planning strategies Coordinate account openings, transfers, rollovers, and other client service needs Participate in client meetings and gradually assume greater client-facing responsibilities Work closely with our advisors, CPA partners, insurance specialists, and operations team Maintain accurate client records and ensure follow-up items are completed Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who: Has prior experience in financial planning, wealth management, investment services, or paraplanning Is interested in developing into a Financial Advisor or expanding an existing advisory career Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills Is highly organized and detail-oriented Is comfortable working directly with clients Has strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Understands the importance of confidentiality, compliance, and exceptional client service Works well in a team-oriented environment
