Multifamily Senior Operations Asset Manager

Operations Manager A property management firm in Columbus is seeking an Operations Manager responsible for the maintenance oversight of a portfolio of multifamily properties throughout Ohio. As an Operations Manager you will be responsible for inspecting the physical facilities and assessing the condition of each asset. The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the onsite maintenance teams and ensuring a safe, functional, and well-maintained portfolio of over 2500 units supports the company's mission and programs. A valid driver's license is required for extensive travel to property sites throughout Ohio. Core Responsibilities Ensuring the day-to-day operations, maintenance and repairs of the projects in the portfolio are functioning and maintained. Oversee property management operations across a multifamily portfolio, ensuring strong operational performance, service delivery, and financial results. Inspecting and assessing the condition of the facilities, grounds and buildings. Evaluating personnel performance and operational activities related to maintaining all assets. Responsibilities include overseeing all building systems, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire safety systems. The Operations Manager will work directly with contractors, vendors and company executives on various tasks and projects. Identify opportunities to improve processes, systems, and operational efficiencies while maintaining a high standard for customer/resident experience. The Operations Manager will represent the ownership in multidisciplinary meetings with internal staff and external partners.

Required Skills & Qualifications Experience:

Knowledge of electric, plumbing, HVAC and general repair and upkeep of the building environment and life safety components.

Collaboration:

Working closely with the Senior Executive Staff, to identify opportunities for improvement, develop effective operational systems and foster a positive, collaborative team culture.

Communication:

Excellent verbal and written communication to present findings to ownership and stakeholders. •

Software Utilization:

Utilize industry-standard software (e.g., RealPage, Microsoft Excel, Windows programs) to manage information and data. •

Detail Oriented:

Ability to produce accurate and precise work product in a timely manner.

Pay:

$45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
