Job Description

Ready to launch your career in Financial Planning & Analysis and gain hands-on experience that will help shape the future of a growing business? IQ Ventures is seeking an ambitious, early-career FP&A Analyst who is eager to build a long-term career in finance. This role offers a unique opportunity to learn the business from the ground up while developing the analytical, technical, and business partnering skills needed to become a successful FP&A professional. You'll gain valuable exposure to financial performance, business operations, and strategic decision-making while working closely with leaders across the organization. In your first year, you'll gain hands-on experience supporting financial reporting, forecasting, modeling, and business analysis while learning our operations, systems, and key performance drivers. As your knowledge and experience grow, you'll take on increasing responsibility in budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and strategic decision support, ultimately becoming a trusted partner to leadership and helping drive informed business decisions and company growth.
What You'll Do Initially, You'll:
Maintain and improve recurring financial reports, models, and reporting packages. Extract, validate, and analyze data from NetSuite and other business systems. Support monthly financial reporting and performance analysis. Assist with management presentations, reporting packages, and ad hoc analyses. Learn the company's operations, products, services, and key financial drivers. Support weekly and monthly reporting processes to monitor business performance. Develop reports and analytical tools using Excel and other financial systems.
As You Grow, You'll:
Participate in budgeting and forecasting processes. Build and maintain financial models to support business planning and strategic initiatives. Perform variance analysis and identify trends impacting financial performance. Identify and quantify business risks and opportunities. Support strategic decision-making through data-driven analysis and insights. Partner with leaders across the organization to improve business performance and profitability. Help develop Power BI dashboards and enhanced reporting solutions. Create presentations for budget reviews, forecasting meetings, and leadership discussions. Support special projects and ad hoc financial analysis as needed. What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related field required. 0-3 years of finance, accounting, FP&A, analytics, banking, or related internship experience. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Ability to learn new systems, processes, and business concepts quickly. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Comfortable working with assumptions, ambiguity, and evolving business needs. Positive attitude, intellectual curiosity, and a desire to learn and grow professionally. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. Preferred Qualifications Experience with NetSuite or other ERP systems. Exposure to Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or other data visualization tools. Banking, financial services, accounting, or analytics experience. Experience creating reports and presentations for leadership teams. Why Join IQ Ventures? This position is ideal for someone who enjoys understanding how businesses work, solving analytical problems, and using data to drive decisions. Rather than stepping into a narrowly focused reporting role, you'll gain broad exposure to financial planning, forecasting, analysis, and business strategy while working alongside experienced leaders who are invested in your success. Our goal is to develop you into a well-rounded FP&A professional. You'll begin by building a strong foundation in reporting and analysis and progressively take ownership of forecasting, budgeting, financial modeling, and business partnership responsibilities that support executive decision-making and company growth.
