The RoleFrom supporting internal teams to developing next-gen materials, our professional roles span strategy, innovation, and purpose. At CNG, youll do work that mattersand own it all.
Schedule:
Monday - Friday, Business hoursWhat You'll DoProvide reporting and analysis of P&L, capital investments, and cash flowDevelop analytics around key performance indicators, weekly, monthly, quarterly, ad-hocPresentation and delivery to senior managementAdvise management on financial impact of business cases and strategyPerform variance and trend analysis on product, customer, cost, and margin on monthly, quarterly, YTD, ad-hoc basisAssist with and perform month end closing, reporting, and analysis Prepare and record accrual / deferral journal entries as required and necessaryWork with Accounting staff to identify and properly classify capital expensesAssist with the preparation of financial forecasts and budgets, monthly, quarterly, annually, ad-hocAnalyze, interpret, and communicate cost and expense variances to managementDevelop and assist with departmental and business wide continuous and process improvement projectsCreate, leverage, and deploy financial models for own use and for use by other staff; document models and processesPartner with management on various projects, related data requests and financial reports to support strategic initiatives, ad-hoc other duties as required and necessary to support the business
What Youll BringEssential Qualifications:
BS/BA in accounting or finance; MBA, CPA, or CMA a plusDemonstrated advanced to expert Excel experience and comfort with report writing softwareExcellent communication, able to influence, coach, and explainSuperior attention to detail with unquestioned accuracyExcellent analytical skills and business/financial acumenAbility to execute projects efficiently and effectively with limited to no supervisionMotivated by success and achievementMaintain high level of confidentiality and professionalismBusiness experience with a financial/analytical focus in a manufacturing businessExperience with One Stream a plus
