Job Description
FP&A Analyst North Dayton, OH | On-site $75k- $80k Role Overview We are seeking an experienced FP&A Analyst to support financial reporting, analysis, and business decision-making within a manufacturing environment. The ideal FP&A Analyst will have a strong accounting foundation and the ability to analyze financial data and provide meaningful business insights. Key Responsibilities of FP&A Analyst Prepare and analyze financial statements and monthly financial reports. Demonstrate a strong understanding of Income Statements and Balance Sheets . Analyze financial data, trends, and variances, including the impact of price increases . Support the monthly close and reporting process. Prepare and/or review monthly journal entries . Partner with accounting, finance, and operations teams to explain financial results and variances. Support budgeting, forecasting, and other FP&A activities as needed. Required Qualifications of FP&A Analyst Previous experience as an FP&A Analyst , Financial Analyst, Accountant, or similar role. Manufacturing industry experience is required. Accounting background required; finance candidates may be considered if they have strong accounting knowledge. Strong understanding of debits and credits , financial statements, and accounting fundamentals. Experience with monthly reporting and financial analysis. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Ideal Candidate The ideal FP&A Analyst combines strong accounting fundamentals with practical financial analysis skills. This FP&A Analyst should be comfortable working with financial statements, analyzing variances, understanding pricing impacts, and supporting month-end activities. #
