As the successful candidate, you will play a key role in supporting the organization's financial integrity, regulatory compliance, and strategic priorities. This position blends financial analysis, accounting operations, internal controls, compliance oversight, and cross-functional project support. \ As part of an evolving organization, this role will help advance finance's contribution to the organization's 5-year plan, as you touch: Financial Analysis & Reporting Perform financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and variance reporting to support decision-making Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports Develop financial models to assess business performance and strategic initiatives Identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and provide actionable insights to leadership Accounting & Financial Operations Support month-end and year-end close, including journal entries and account reconciliations Manage the monthly grant draw process Maintain the accuracy and integrity of general ledger accounts Assist in preparing financial statements Support internal and external audit processes Compliance & Internal Controls Monitor compliance with internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements Evaluate and strengthen internal controls to reduce financial and operational risk Participate in compliance reviews, testing, and documentation Assist with implementing new policies, controls, and compliance initiatives Projects & Process Improvement Lead or contribute to cross-functional finance and operational projects Identify process improvement and automation opportunities Support system implementations, upgrades, and integrations Assist with strategic initiatives and CFO priorities as needed Interested in this direct hire opportunity?
