Opportunity Awaits, Apply Today!- Community Restoration Evaluation Unit (CREU), Aid & Assist Fiscal Analyst (Fiscal Analyst 2) The Community Restoration Evaluation Unit (CREU) is a unique program within the Behavioral Health Division that oversees Oregon's statewide system for court ordered competency evaluations.
What We Are Looking For Minimum Qualifications:
These qualifications must be reflected in your application for consideration. Five years of progressively responsible experience that included the preparation, analysis, and administration of a budget or fiscal system. OR , five years of professional-level experience in accounting, fiscal auditing, management or program analysis. Experience must have included modeling, forecasting and analyzing fiscal information. OR , successful completion of the Department of Administrative Services Budget and Management Public Administrative Trainee Program.Desired Attributes:

Experience using financial data, trends, and feedback to guide decisions, forecast needs, and support program planning. Ability to build and maintain collaborative working relationships with internal partners such as finance, procurement, IT, and program teams to support smooth fiscal operations and resolve issues. Skill in interpreting policies, fiscal rules, and funding requirements, then translating them into clear expectations and practical steps for staff and partners. Experience with procurement and contract‑related fiscal work, including monitoring vendor payments, supporting compliance, and aligning resources with program priorities and funding rules. Ability to support change by training staff, clarifying processes, and helping teams transition to updated fiscal tools, procedures, or systems. Additional Details This announcement is for one, full-time, permanent, represented, Community Restoration Evaluation Unit (CREU), Aid & Assist Fiscal Analyst (Fiscal Analyst 2) position based in Salem, Oregon. This is a hybrid (5% in-office) position. "Review Section 4: Working Conditions" in the position description (linked above) for more information. Employment is contingent upon a criminal records check and a driving records check that meets OHA criteria at the time of hire and throughout employment. The salary listed is the non-PERS qualifying range. If the successful candidate qualifies for PERS, the salary range will increase by 6.95%. For more information, see the Classification and Compensation page.
