Finance Coordinator Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely billing for services rendered, reconciling accounts, running payroll, and verifying eligibility for services and benefits. This position requires proficiency in payroll and billing processes, strong reconciliation skills, and excellent communication abilities. Bilingual candidates with fluency in Spanish and English are preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
1.
Billing and Reconciliation:
Prepare and process invoices for rendered services, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery. Reconcile billing records with accounts receivable to identify and resolve discrepancies. Collaborate with internal teams to verify service data for accurate billing. 2.
Payroll Administration:
Run payroll for the company's workforce, ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations. Verify employee timecards and payroll data for accuracy. Manage payroll adjustments, deductions, and benefits processing. 3.
Eligibility Verification:
Review and confirm eligibility for employee benefits and other service-related qualifications. Maintain accurate records of eligibility documentation and correspondence. 4:
System Management:
Utilize company payroll and billing systems efficiently to maintain accurate and secure records. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to payroll and billing systems. 5.
General Finance Support:
Assist in preparing financial reports and summaries as needed. Support the finance department with administrative tasks and special projects.
Qualifications:
Experience:
2+ years of experience in billing, reconciliation, payroll, or related financial roles. Prior experience with payroll and billing systems is highly preferred.
Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software applications. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Effective communication skills in both Spanish and English (preferred).
Education:
High school diploma or GED required. Associate or bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is a plus.
