Financial Analyst III Location:

Remote - West Coast preferred; WA/DC ideal

Contract Duration:

Approximately 6 months

Full-time Position Overview We are seeking a Financial Analyst III to support a Finance & Business Planning organization within a leading technology company. This role will be part of a cross-functional finance team responsible for core FP&A deliverables, financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and process improvement. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of FP&A concepts, experience managing budgeting and forecasting cycles, and the ability to build effective relationships with cross-functional stakeholders while communicating financial insights clearly. Key Responsibilities Lead cross-team ownership for a key business vertical within Finance.

Develop and implement standardized financial processes to improve collaboration and efficiency.

Lead monthly/quarterly close and forecast cycles, including timelines, templates, processes, and preparation of flux commentary and forecasts.

Support the annual budgeting process, including resource allocation, financial planning, and operational planning.

Partner with Finance teams to support key business decisions through financial analysis and insights.

Drive financial systems and process improvement initiatives.

Develop and maintain collaborative partnerships with: Vertical FP&A teams

Finance Consolidations

Corporate FP&A

Accounting

Technical Accounting

Enterprise Engineering Support risk management, internal controls, and financial compliance activities.

Provide financial thought partnership and support collaboration across the broader Finance organization.

Gather, analyze, and communicate financial information to support business and investment decisions. Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience in Finance

Strong experience with FP&A

Hands-on experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting

Experience supporting or leading financial close cycles

Strong variance/flux analysis experience

Ability to develop and communicate financial insights to diverse stakeholders

Strong cross-functional collaboration and relationship-building skills

Experience with FBASE

Experience with Tableau

Strong Excel skills Preferred Qualifications Experience working within a large technology organization / Big Tech

Experience with financial systems and process optimization

Experience supporting hardware, technology, or emerging technology organizations

Experience with AI tools or AI-enabled workflows

Experience using Claude Code or similar AI/automation tools

Experience with risk management, internal controls, and financial compliance
