Job Title:
Financial Coordinator / Analyst - Technology Portfolio Overview We are seeking a detail?oriented Financial Coordinator / Analyst to support the financial and operational management of our technology portfolio. This role plays a critical part in ensuring technology contracts are accurately tracked, renewals are executed on time, and financial data across systems is complete, clean, and reliable. This is a coordination?heavy, execution?focused role ideal for someone with a solid finance or accounting foundation who enjoys structured work, data accuracy, and process discipline. The role partners closely with internal application owners, Procurement, and Finance, working primarily through email and Microsoft Teams. What You'll Do Technology Contract & Renewal Support Monitor upcoming technology contract renewals on a rolling 30?day horizon. Proactively engage application owners and Procurement to ensure renewal discussions start early and contracts do not lapse. Validate renewal dates, contract details, and associated financial data. Financial Data Management Maintain Smartsheet as the primary source of truth for technology licensing and renewal data. Perform high?volume data entry, reconciliation, and cleanup to ensure accuracy and consistency. Enter and maintain line?
item financial data in:
Planview (project portfolio and work planning) Planful (operating expense forecasting and budgeting) Planning & Reporting Support Support preparation and submission of the annual technology work plan and the supporting five?year roadmap. Assist with data validation, compilation, and updates to support planning and forecasting cycles. Stakeholder Coordination Coordinate with internal application and functional owners primarily via email and Microsoft Teams. Gather required inputs, confirm details, and resolve discrepancies efficiently without reliance on meetings. Process Improvement & Documentation Document workflows, controls, and reporting structures related to technology financial management. Support the long?term goal of transitioning this function to an external managed services or BPO partner. Identify risks, gaps, or inconsistencies early and recommend practical solutions. What We're Looking For Required Qualifications Solid foundation in finance or accounting (analyst?light, coordinator?heavy profile). Proven ability to handle high?volume, detail?intensive data entry and data cleanup with a high degree of accuracy. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Smartsheet . Comfort working within established processes and improving them incrementally. Self?directed, proactive work style with strong ownership and follow?through. Clear, professional written communication skills for email? and Microsoft Teams?based collaboration. Nice to Have Experience working with financial planning or portfolio tools such as Planview and/or Planful . Exposure to technology financials, contract tracking, or vendor management. Experience supporting planning or budgeting cycles in a corporate environment. Work Arrangement The role is expected to begin on?site, five days per week . Flexibility toward a hybrid schedule may be considered over time, as the work is largely heads?down and digitally coordinated. Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. With that said, as required by local law in geographies that require salary range disclosure, Vaco/Highspring notes the salary range for the role is noted in this job posting. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company's 401(k) retirement plan.
