Job Description Our client, a large manufacturing & distribution company, is looking for a Financial Operations Analyst to join their team! This will be a fully remote role role working out of the eastern time zone. The successful candidate will posses strong analytical skills, the ability to work independently in a high-volume environment, and have excellent attention to detail! Please no corp-to-corp applicants or third-party agencies. Sub-contracted candidates or candidates that require immediate sponsorship cannot be considered.
Role Overview:
Contract Role:
Ongoing temporary duration, potential for conversion but not guaranteed
Pay:
$30-36/hr W2 (No C2C or 1099)
Schedule:
Fully remote, M-F 7-4PM, 8-5PM, or 9-6
PM ET Responsibilities:
Reconcile, research, and resolve open items on vendor statements Analyze vendor sales-based incentive program agreements Analyze rebate criteria using vendor agreements Investigate variances and resolve account discrepancies with suppliers or internal customers Request and follow up on additional documentation required from sales teams or suppliers
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related business concentration 2-3 years of related finance or accounting experience required Knowledge of rebate accounting is preferred Prior experience working with big box retailers a plus (Walmart, Home Depot, etc.) Advanced Microsoft Office skills Experience utilizing Oracle is preferred Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills Excellent organizational skills The Solomon Page Distinction Solomon Page offers a comprehensive benefit program for hourly employees.
