•ability to work onsite in Chesterfield as needed W2 Only | No C2C Position Overview We are seeking a Process Analyst to support a corporate Finance PMO with an initiative focused on business process discovery, documentation, governance, and standardization . The Process Analyst will work directly with Finance stakeholders and subject matter experts to understand how current business processes operate, document existing workflows, identify systems and handoffs, and help establish consistent process documentation across the Finance organization. This is a business-side Finance process role and is not an IT Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or application development position. The focus is on understanding, documenting, and improving Finance business processes rather than gathering technical requirements for software development. The team is looking for someone who can quickly step in, facilitate process discovery, gather information from stakeholders, and turn that information into clear and organized business process documentation. Key Responsibilities Conduct process discovery sessions with Finance stakeholders and subject matter experts. Document current-state / as-is Finance business processes and workflows. Develop process flows, runbooks, and supporting process documentation. Capture process owners, systems, inputs, outputs, data sources, and handoffs. Identify gaps, manual steps, unclear ownership, and inconsistencies within existing processes. Help build, populate, and maintain a centralized process inventory . Trace data sources and handoffs across Finance processes. Apply established process documentation standards and templates. Review and quality-check process documentation for accuracy, completeness, and consistency. Partner with stakeholders to validate documented processes. Support ongoing process governance, standardization, and process improvement initiatives. Work across Finance teams to create greater visibility and consistency around how business processes are performed and documented. Qualifications Experience in business process analysis, process improvement, Finance operations, business analysis, or a related function . Hands-on experience with process discovery and process documentation . Experience creating current-state/as-is workflows, process flows, runbooks, or similar business documentation. Experience working directly with business stakeholders and subject matter experts to understand and document existing processes. Ability to identify and document systems, inputs, outputs, data sources, dependencies, and cross-functional handoffs. Ability to take complex or loosely documented business processes and translate them into clear, structured documentation. Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and stakeholder-management skills. Experience supporting Finance, Accounting, Financial Reporting, or other financial business processes is strongly preferred. Experience working within a large corporate environment is helpful. Ideal Candidate Background Potential backgrounds may include Process Analyst, Business Process Analyst, Process Improvement Analyst, Finance Process Analyst, Finance Operations Analyst , or a Business Analyst with significant Finance business-process experience . Candidates do not need to come from a traditional consulting background. The focus is on finding someone who can work directly with Finance stakeholders, learn existing processes, facilitate discovery, and produce organized and standardized process documentation. This is not a traditional FP&A role focused primarily on budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, or variance analysis. It is also not an IT-focused Business Analyst role centered on SDLC, software requirements, application development, or technical systems analysis. Additional Information This is an initial long-term W2 contract opportunity with the potential for extension and possible right-to-hire . The position is hybrid in Chesterfield, Missouri . Candidates should be within commuting distance and able to work onsite with the Finance team as needed. W2 candidates only. No C2C arrangements.
Pay:
$110,000.00
•$135,000.00 per hour
