Job Description
Senior Finance CoordinatorHirschmann Car Communication GmbH Auburn Hills, Michigan, United States (Hybrid) We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Finance Coordinator (part time). The SFC manages all of the day-to-day financial aspects of business and works closely with the GM and to drive the sites' financial planning and compliance matters. The SFC also represents the conduit between Corporate Finance and Local Operations, ensuring all financial matters are addressed timely and efficiently. The SFC is a reliable professional with broad knowledge of several accounting functions, including, but not exclusively, Tax, Transfer-Pricing and Treasury. They are strategic thinkers, who are disciplined and structured in their approach and can make the most appropriate decisions for the well-being of the business. This position is hybrid with the expected working hours of 25 hours per week. Key Responsibilities Manage daily financial and accounting operations for the site. Act as the primary point of contact between Corporate Finance and Local Operations. Prepare, analyze, and distribute financial reports, metrics, and performance analyses. Ensure compliance with corporate policies, accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls. Oversee and support functions related to accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, treasury, and fixed assets. Coordinate tax reporting, transfer pricing activities, and treasury-related matters. Monitor cash flow and working capital performance. Lead month-end and year-end closing activities and ensure timely reporting. Support internal and external audit requirements. Identify process improvement opportunities and implement best practices to enhance financial efficiency and accuracy. Provide financial guidance and recommendations to site leadership to support business decisions. Perform other duties and special projects as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required. 5+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience. Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, tax, and accounting principles. Experience working with ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Ability to analyze complex financial data and communicate findings effectively. Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Manufacturing or multi-site operations experience preferred. Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams and corporate stakeholders. Hourly rate $50.00 to 60.00 /hr.
