$36/HR Position Overview The Senior Financial Analyst will provide financial and analytical support across hospital operations. This role will support key management initiatives through financial and operational analysis, capital and operational budgeting, labor productivity analysis, service line and margin analysis, long-term planning, and ad hoc financial requests. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical judgment, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to translate complex financial and operational data into actionable insights for hospital leadership. This individual should be comfortable working independently, managing multiple priorities, and producing accurate, high-quality deliverables with minimal day-to-day direction. Senior Financial Analyst Responsibilities Perform financial analysis, including pro formas, ROI analysis, long-term planning, capital requests, and service line analytics. Support annual budgeting, monthly budget reconciliation, and budget-to-actual analysis. Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, variances, and key business drivers. Conduct month-end financial reviews and reconciliations. Provide financial and accounting support to hospital leadership and staff. Translate complex financial data into actionable insights and recommendations for leadership. Support productivity and decision-support analysis. Manage financial projects and deadlines with minimal supervision. Collaborate with hospital and university stakeholders and serve as a financial liaison. Utilize Power Query, Power BI, and advanced Excel to analyze and present financial data. Senior Financial Analyst Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or related field; 10-15 years of relevant experience may substitute. Master's preferred. 5+ years of financial analysis, accounting, financial management, or decision-support experience in an acute-care hospital environment. Hospital experience is required; general healthcare experience does not qualify. Advanced Power Query and strong Power BI experience are the top technical priorities. Advanced Excel skills, including PivotTables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, complex formulas, and financial modeling. Strong knowledge of GAAP and hospital financial/accounting principles. Experience with budgeting, financial analysis, productivity analysis, budget-to-actual reporting, and hospital operations. DataRails and Lawson Version 10 experience are a plus but not required. CPA preferred, not required. Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. #INDGBBenefits
