Job Description
Description Robert Half Finance & Accounting and Kevin Sweet have partnering with a large organization that is making a significant investment in its finance group that is evolving its strategy, structure and operations. As part of this evolution, the company is building a brand-new Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis and Strategy Group and is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join this newly created team. M Responsibilities:
+ Support the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes across the organization.
+ Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, reporting, and analysis to support business and strategic decision-making.
+ Analyze financial and operational results to identify trends, variances, key drivers, risks, and opportunities.
+ Partner with Operations, Accounting, and business leaders to understand business performance and translate financial results into actionable insights.
+ Prepare and deliver financial analysis, management reporting, and presentations for Finance and business leadership.
+ Develop and enhance financial reports, dashboards, KPIs, and performance metrics that improve visibility into business performance.
+ Assist with monthly and quarterly financial reporting, including variance analysis and explanations of key business drivers.
+ Help identify opportunities to improve profitability, efficiency, cost management, and overall business performance.
+ Support the development and improvement of FP& A processes, systems, reporting, and analytical tools as the new corporate function evolves.
+ Assist with business cases, strategic initiatives, capital planning, and other enterprise-wide financial analyses.
+ Collaborate with FP& A leadership and cross-functional business partners on special projects and high-impact financial analyses.
+ Help create a scalable and data-driven FP& A infrastructure that supports the company's continued growth and transformation.
+ Take ownership of complex analytical projects and present findings and recommendations to Finance and business leadership. Requirements Qualifications + 3+ years of progressive financial analysis, FP& A, corporate finance, or related experience.
+ Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field required
+ Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, variance analysis, and management reporting.
+ MUST have experience within a large, multi-location/multi-site organization.
+ Strong analytical, financial modeling, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
+ Ability to analyze complex financial and operational data and translate findings into clear, actionable business recommendations.
+ Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate financial information to Finance, Operations, and business leaders.
+ Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
+ Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment where processes and expectations are being developed and refined.
+ Highly collaborative with the ability to build strong relationships across Finance and Operations.
+ Positive, hungry, adaptable mindset with a genuine desire to learn, contribute, and make an impact.
+ Intellectual curiosity and a passion for understanding the business beyond the numbers.
+ Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills required; experience with ERP systems, BI/reporting tools, and financial planning platforms is a plus.
