Comprehensive package including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) Overview A dynamic, publicly traded organization is seeking a Senior Financial Reporting Analyst to join its corporate finance team during an exciting period of transformation and growth. This role offers strong exposure to executive leadership and the opportunity to play a key part in rebuilding and enhancing the financial reporting function. The organization operates across multiple business lines and investment platforms, providing a high level of complexity and visibility. This is an ideal opportunity for someone coming out of public accounting or with early industry SEC experience who is looking to step into a high-impact reporting role. Key Responsibilities- Support the preparation and filing of SEC reports including 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K
- Assist with financial statement preparation, footnote disclosures, and tie-outs
- Support XBRL tagging and ensure accuracy of filings
- Partner with external auditors on quarterly reviews and annual audits
- Assist in drafting technical accounting memos and maintaining accounting policies
- Support SOX compliance and internal controls over financial reporting
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Legal, Tax, and Investor Relations
- Monitor new accounting standards and assist with implementation
- Identify opportunities to streamline reporting processes and improve efficiency Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3-6+ years of experience, ideally a mix of public accounting and/or financial reporting
- Exposure to SEC reporting and
U.S. GAAP
- Strong understanding of financial statements and disclosures
- Experience with SOX and internal controls preferred
- Proficiency in Excel; exposure to Workiva or similar tools is a plus
