Job Description
Description Robert Half is recruiting for an interim Data analytics/ SFA consultant to help our Education client with management level KPIs and dashboards. The SFA consultant will develop a comprehensive HR scorecard dashboard using data exported from the client's HRIS and related systems. The consultant will build executive reporting, automate dashboard updates where possible, document processes, and train a designated internal employee to assume ongoing ownership and maintenance of the reporting environment upon project completion. This opportunity will be located hybrid schedule in Redlands, CA. Responsibilities Design and develop executive HR dashboards and scorecards. Consolidate and analyze HR data provided by the client through standard report exports. Create reporting and analytics related to: Headcount and workforce trends Turnover and retention Recruiting and hiring metrics Compensation and workforce costs Diversity and inclusion metrics Employee engagement Attendance and overtime Learning and development Develop KPI calculations and reporting standards. Create visually effective dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting tools. Validate data accuracy and ensure consistency of reporting metrics. Document dashboard processes, KPI definitions, and reporting procedures. Create user guides and training materials. Train and mentor a designated employee to manage reports, refresh data, maintain dashboards, and perform ongoing analysis. Provide knowledge transfer and transition support through project completion.
Dashboard reports will include:
Executive HR Scorecard Dashboard Workforce Analytics Dashboard KPI Definitions and Reporting Standards Process Documentation User Training Materials Knowledge Transfer Plan Qualifications Experience building HR analytics and workforce reporting dashboards. ( must have) Advanced Power BI, Tableau, or similar business intelligence expertise. Strong Excel and data analysis skills. Experience reporting on headcount, turnover, retention, recruiting, compensation, and workforce metrics. Ability to translate business requirements into meaningful executive reporting. Excellent documentation, training, and knowledge transfer capabilities. Project Success Criteria Requirements- 5+ years of experience in analytics, financial analysis, or workforce reporting within a structured environment.
- Demonstrated success creating HR analytics dashboards and KPI reporting for management or executive audiences. ( must have)
- Advanced proficiency with Power BI, Tableau, or comparable business intelligence platforms.
- Strong Excel capabilities and the ability to organize, analyze, and interpret large data sets.
- Experience reporting on workforce measures such as headcount, turnover, retention, recruiting activity, compensation, and labor costs.
- Ability to convert business questions into practical dashboards, scorecards, and decision-ready reporting.
- Strong documentation, training, and knowledge transfer skills with a structured, detail-oriented approach.
