Your Role in Synergy's Success The Senior Financial Analyst position will be responsible for financial forecasting and modeling, budgeting, variance analysis, management reporting, business partnering, and scenario planning. How You Will Contribute Design and orchestrate the annual budgeting process. Collaborate with department heads to understand their operational needs, review headcount plans, and align resource allocations with strategic goals. Lead the forecasting process by partnering with senior leaders and department heads. Update forecasts to reflect shifting economic conditions and market trends. Develop dynamic, long-range financial models to project the income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow Prepare clear, visually appealing dashboards and presentation materials for executive review and Board meetings. Conduct deep-dive analyses comparing actual financial results against budgets and forecasts. Investigate root causes and prepare commentary to explain performance gaps to senior leadership. Act as a strategic advisor to various business units. Help non-finance stakeholders interpret their department's financial data, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and identify cost-savings or revenue-enhancing opportunities. Perform "what-if" analyses to evaluate the financial impact of potential new initiatives, pricing changes, or supply chain shifts before implementation.
Market Research:
Deliver competitor analysis, market trends and associated commentary to the leadership team.
Process optimization:
Review existing processes and procedures to develop recommendations for improvement efforts. Work closely with leadership to formulate the business's short, medium, and long term financial and strategic plan. Utilize BI tools to deliver meaningful insights into business performance. Provide detailed analysis and commentary on customer activities (new wins, losses, product life cycle). Prepare business cases to support new investment, strategic plans and other business decisions. Identify the risks and opportunities in the business's outlook. Other duties as assigned.
Salary Range:
$88,000 - $119,500 The actual compensation that you will be offered will depend on a variety of factors including geography, skills and abilities, education, experience and other relevant factors. This role will remain open until filled. For more information on our benefits click here.
