  • Job Description
  • We are seeking a highly motivated Trade Control Analyst to join our growing Global Commodities Operations team.

This role is aligned closely with the Commodities Trading Desk and supports an expanding global commodities business across multiple products and instruments. This is an excellent opportunity for an analytical and detail-oriented professional looking to build expertise within commodities operations and trade control. Comprehensive technical training will be provided.

  • Key Responsibilities
  • Perform daily trade validation and reconciliation to ensure accurate trade capture and system booking.

Process trade amendments and corrections to maintain accurate trade records. Investigate, escalate, and resolve trade discrepancies and breaks in collaboration with Sales, Trading, Risk, and Operations teams. Support regulatory, management, and operational reporting requirements. Monitor and maintain strong operational controls to minimize risk. Identify opportunities for process improvements and control enhancements. Participate in risk reduction initiatives and support continuous improvement projects. Handle ad hoc requests and contribute to broader team objectives.

  • Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of commodities operations or trade control experience. Solid understanding of the trade lifecycle. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate and resolve discrepancies.
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • 2-3 years of commodities experience. Experience working with Energy Trading and Risk Management (ETRM) systems such as Endur/Openlink. Exposure to OTC derivative products, confirmations, and settlements.
